This directory contains historical documentation audit reports and analysis artifacts.

Purpose

These documents are:

• Point-in-time analysis of documentation state
• Temporary artifacts from specific audit periods
• Historical reference for tracking improvements
• NOT permanent documentation - excluded from main navigation

Why Archived?

These documents served their purpose during the audit period but:

• ❌ Don't need to be in main navigation
• ❌ Are dated/time-specific analysis
• ❌ Can clutter the documentation structure
• ✅ Still valuable for historical reference
• ✅ Should be preserved but not prominent

When to Archive

Move documents here if they are:

• Dated audit/analysis reports
• One-time review artifacts
• Temporary planning documents that have been superseded
• Historical snapshots of documentation state

When NOT to Archive

Keep in main docs if they are:

• Living strategic documents (vision, roadmap)
• Architectural decision records (ADRs)
• Implementation guides still in use
• Current process documentation
